The Marquette University Alumnus/Alumna of the Year Award
Offering more than 35 years of experience, Rhona Vogel is a registered investment advisor and certified public accountant. She is founder and CEO of an integrated financial services firm where she advises more than 30 high-net-worth families with assets exceeding $2.5 billion. Rhona Vogel is a graduate of Marquette University, and was the 2014 recipient of the university’s Alumna of the Year award.
The Alumnus/Alumna of the Year award is the Marquette University Alumni Association’s most prestigious honor to graduates of the university. In 1945, the MUAA established the Alumnus/Alumna of the Year award to recognize the professional development and community leadership of the university’s graduates. The MUAA evaluates professional achievements, community service, record of service to the university, and reputation of its nominees before determining awardees.
Nominations for alumni awards can come from a number of sources, including academic department heads, affiliate alumni associations, members of the alumni body, and college deans. Those who nominate alumni for awards must submit letters stating why their nominees are deserving of an award from the MUAA.
